Brian also specializes in financial officer roles including CFO, controller, internal audit and financial operations. He has recruited many successful executives at the CEO and GM level, as well as other senior functional areas including sales leadership, business development, marketing, engineering, IT, product development and management, HR and professional services. Brian’s client base ranges from small venture or PE-backed firms to the Fortune 500.

Brian places strong emphasis on matching leadership to organizational culture. His experience is unique as he has been on both sides of the table, having served as president and CEO of Yankee Group, and as an executive search consultant for Spencer Stuart and now Top Gun Ventures. He has also served on the Board of several companies. Brian is passionate about helping his clients think through their business models and market opportunities, and then assisting them in building and retaining an executive team that delivers superior performance.
While serving as CEO of Yankee Group, a leading global technology research and consulting firm, Brian led a transformation of the firm’s leadership team and product offering that resulted in its sale to a private investment group in 2005. Prior to Yankee Group, he spent 13 years in a wide range of management positions at AT&T, focusing on engineering, network planning, product development, marketing and government affairs.
Brian received an M.A. in personnel psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a B.A. in management from Pace University.
