Brian focuses on executive-level search with an emphasis on disruptive companies in technology, communications, digital/social media, healthcare, services, commercial real estate, and consumer industries. Brian also specializes in financial officers and sales leadership across many industry verticals dealing with or driving disruptive change. He has recruited many successful executives at the CEO and GM level, as well as other senior functional leaders including business development, marketing, engineering, IT, product development and management, human resources, and professional services. Brian’s client base ranges from small venture or PE-backed firms to the Fortune 500.

Brian places a strong emphasis on matching leadership style to organizational culture. His experience is unique, having served as president and CEO of Yankee Group and as an executive search consultant for Spencer Stuart and now Top Gun Ventures. He has also served on the Boards of Directors for several companies. Brian is passionate about helping his clients think through their business models and market opportunities and then assisting them in building and retaining an executive team that delivers superior performance.

While serving as CEO of Yankee Group, a leading global technology research and consulting firm, Brian led a transformation of the firm’s leadership team and product offering that resulted in its sale to a private investment group in 2005. Prior to Yankee Group, he spent 13 years in a wide range of management positions at AT&T, focusing on engineering, network planning, product development, marketing, and government affairs.

Brian received a Master of Arts degree in personnel psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in management from Pace University.
